The MG Cyberster is on a 10,000 Mile Journey!

The MG Cyberster is popular among sports car fans and is nearing the next section of its 10,000-mile journey from London to Shanghai!

• A pre-production design model of MG’s revolutionary all-electric sports car, Cyberster, hit the road in September for its seven-month journey alongside British adventurer twins Hugo and Ross Turner. These identical twin adventurers have previously undertaken challenging expeditions such as rowing across the Atlantic Ocean and traversing Greenland’s Ice Cap. 

  The adventure starts in London and crosses the finish line in Shanghai following whats known as the "Silk Trading Route" across Europe and Asia accumulating over 10,000 miles across the seven months. This ambitious road trip is not just about adventure but also marks MG’s centenary year in 2024. The journey commenced from London’s Westminster on September 12 and is expected to finish in summer 2024. Before embarking on the European leg of their trip, the brothers toured the UK, making a significant stop at MG’s birthplace in Oxford.

• Envisioned by Advanced Design Director Carl Gotham and his team at the MG Design Studio, the Cyberster draws its inspiration from the brand's heritage. Its long-slicked bonnet, distinctive long nose, and concaved surfaces bring that all-known MG shape along with its impeccably thought-out engine, EV characteristics, and aerodynamic performance.

  The two-seater and two-twin journey seems like it's just started but the duo has already explored Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, with Austria, France, and Spain just around the corner.

• The New Year will see the brothers continue their journey in the Middle East, passing through countries such as Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Oman. From there, they will travel through Asia, visiting nations like India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, before finally reaching their destination in Shanghai.
