Steve Moros was our sales person. He was really helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable about Motability and our requirements. He kept us informed throughout, letting us know how the order of our new car was progressing until delivery. He even provided us with a video when the car was ready for collection. I ordered a new dacha jogger the hybrid they I said I would have to wait at least six months wouldn’t get it till near Christmas but it turned up at the beginning of November. I found all the guys at dacha Basildon are very helpful. They show me how to use the car and all the features on it. I would recommend this to anyone that was buying a Renault or dacha go to Basildon. Tim

Went to Renault 3 years ago just enquiring about a new car and what they had to offer. I spoke with a Sales Executive - David Reed. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, you felt welcomed. He wasn’t pushy or trying to sell me anything that was expensive. We sat down and went over what my driving needs as well family needs were, at the time it was a Renault Kadjar. A brilliant car, perfect for what we needed. Obviously, it was an easy decision to ask for David specifically when it came to replacing the car. Again, after a good, lengthy conversation about the car I was interested in, David explained that the car would take sometime due to delays (out of the dealers hands). David kept me updated on the whereabouts of the car, whenever one was available. I then received an email with a video of the car when it arrived, which I thought was a nice touch. On the day of picking it up, it was an easy hand over. Dropped of the Kadjar and picked up the Arkana. It’s been a very fluid transition from start to finish. David made getting a car 3 years ago, exchanging it for a new one and the whole process easy.

A very pleasant and easy transaction. Did not feel pressured at all during the whole car buying process. Had a lengthy test drive on our own and given plenty of time to come to a decision. David gave us all the information we required without the hard sell. Picked up the car two days later all very nicely prepared. All good so far, very pleased with our purchase.

David Reed just sold me pre reg Clio only complaint i would say that i have is they said pick the car up on last day of the month, As I needed a car I said yes not till I got home I thought what did I just do paid 1 mounths TAX for 1 day GRRR. Would I use the again yes but would not pick car up on last day of mouth. I do think I should have been advised about the tax. So if you get a Car here or elsewhere try and get is at the beginning of the month so you don't lose out. Dave

In my 60's I've always depended on my menfolk's advice to buy my cars because of feeling I wouldn't understand the process of 'talking cars'. My experience at Toomey has changed all of that. Everyone was professional and friendly. I was immediately put at ease and made to realise that no question was dumb. Michael, the sales agent I dealt with was impeccable throughout, nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to assist the process. I 100% and without any hesitation recommend Toomey Renault as 'the go to' place for buying a car, honestly. Plus, I now have a fabulous car too.

We went Toomeys, Basildon last weekend to buy a Renault Clio. The salesman we spoke to was Steven Moros who was very efficient., sending a video of the car in question in advance of our visit and informing us of all the equipment and specifications on the car. We found Steve to be very friendly and easy to talk to, I would recommend asking for him if you are looking to buy a car. Pleased with the service.

Popped in about year and a half ago to take a look at cars just on a whim and was greeted by Shavana I believe her name was who took really good care of me and my wife. She offered us to take the Arkana for a couple days and we well in love with it and vowed when we could we would look to purchase. When the time came Shavana had moved to the Southend store. Luckily we had David look after us at the Basildon store who made the process easy and simple and really worked with us to get it within my budget Kept me in the loop when he had an update which was great. The only thing I would say is if I called and David wasn’t available and had to speak to other people I had to lead the conversation No how can I help? Who are you after? No I can help with that or even asking if I had any questions. Perhaps an off day for who ever I spoke to Dave was always great however and a pleasure to work with

We visited Toomey Renault Basildon to get a used Renault Trafic van in September 2023. Van was in great condition - obviously well looked after when in Renault's care. The van's infotainment system had a small fault involving Apple Carplay and this was very swiftly dealt with by their management and service department. One of the standout features was the test drive - my partner and I were left alone with the van to test drive it without anybody else present. I think this really allowed us to see the van for ourselves and gave us added confidence with both the vehicle and the people we were dealing with. Salesman Paul Shiret has been a gent from start to finish. Can't praise the team enough. We were both offered hot drinks (mine's a cappuccino for next time haha). Thank you - I'm giving 5 stars for this. Well done.

David Reed was excellent throughout the process of purchasing my new car. He was honest and reliable and I felt at ease. Regular updates were given on the arrival of my Clio and he was always at hand to answer any questions. Nothing was too much trouble to the point I recommended him to my boss who also purchased a new car.

Michael at Toomey Renault was the very definition of a brilliant sales advisor. He had been with me from the very beginning of my ordering of the new Austral, through to the very end and in-between that, his communication with me throughout the entire process was simply outstanding, no question I had was too troublesome and the best bit, he was very honest. If there was something he didn't know, he would seek to find out. Michael definitely had the human touch when it comes to buying and selling cars and this is very much a missing element in other places, so was nice to see that there still sales people out there that are more focused on the experience and treating you like a human being than just a cash machine. When the vehicle arrived, Michael sent a video that started serious then took me by surprise to show the car had arrived the dealers! Great sense of humour. On hand over day, Michael made the process painless and simple and took the time to even go over the layout of the car and what the buttons do. (I'm still playing around with the settings etc!) Once again, Toomey and indeed Michael, you've been outstanding on what is my very first Renault and I believe you may have a customer for life if you keep up this amazing service. Picked up my new Austral iconic esprit on the 1st September & i'm blown away with how high the spec is. Being a former Mercedes owner I didn’t think I would ever change to another car manufacturer, but I did & it’s all down to Luisa Cappelli’s friendly & personal level of service. Luisa sorted out a loan car for me due to my lease finishing on my vehicle & a slight delay on my new one. During this period of delay Luisa was always keeping informed, either by email or telephone. When people ask me about my car I will be telling them to go & see Luisa. Thank you again Luisa for all your help & my wife thoroughly enjoyed the chocolates.

From the moment we arrived in the Toomey Renault showroom, we were greeted by friendly, courteous and very helpful staff, in particular David and Luis. Luis arranged a test drive within a short time. We decided which model we wanted, a cup of coffee each was brought when we sat down with David. All during the waiting process from order to delivery, David kept us up to date. The day of collection was a very exciting occasion! A handover booth was prepared with a welcome message and a cloak over the car. Unveiling the car was a very special moment, smiles all around! Photos were taken by Will, one of the managers during the reveal, it was such a treat to be made to feel that special, and to top it off a box of chocolates were presented to us with the keys! My Captur car serviced today here. Brilliant. Lovely people. Efficient service. Josh was so helpful and polite, certainly knows his stuff. My husband Paul and I were offered a test drive in the new Austral. Steve Moros was great, he organised an extended test so that we could really get a feel for the car. The whole experience was positive, there was no pressure to buy when we returned the car. This car will be at the top of our list to buy/lease next year, and we will return to Steve and Toomey should we pursue our purchase. Steve was really friendly, informative and nothing was too much trouble.

Following a pretty traumatic accident that wasn't my fault, I was left with the search for a new vehicle. Took myself off to Toomey Renault Basildon and so happy I did. There is no longer a pick up and drop back service now. You said my car needed a new drive shaft at £780.11 fitted. Having had the car checked by an independent mechanic, it was found to have nothing wrong other than the clip on the gaiter needed refitting securely. The car now has an advisory free MOT.

I recently bought a used car from Renault Toomey Basildon and I must say that I spoke & dealt with a couple of different people at the showroom & they were all really professional & helpful, The main salesperson for my purchase however was Luisa who went above & beyond. She answered all of my queries before and after the sale. She was very friendly and reassuring but not pushy and made the buying process very smooth when I went in to pick up the car, filling in everything online for me and running through all of the functions of the car. It would definitely have been a 5 star review however there was some confusion over where the car was when I initially went to test drive it which resulted in me having to travel back to Toomey again for test drive, but apart from that no problems, Toomey touched up a couple of tiny marks that I noticed on the car after the test drive and was ready for me to collect a few days later. I would definitely recommend Renault Toomey, I had an overall positive experience with them. Thanks Luisa and all of the team.

From start to finish I’ve had the most fantastic service from Michael at Renault Basildon. I called and enquired about a used car late one afternoon, despite it being the end of the day, within an hour Michael had sent me a personalised video tour of the car. I viewed the next day (female, on my own) and took for a test drive. Michael was helpful and knowledgeable, not at all pushy. I decided to purchase the car and he made the whole process so easy and straightforward, he was on hand and quick to answer any additional questions via email even after the sale. I have enquired about a few cars and this experience was by far the best.

Have just purchased a new Clio E-Tech Hybrid and Jade looked after us throughout the process. A good experience overall. My vehicle was serviced at the booked time while I waited as it was a first service. I received an inspection video from the Technician which was thorough. The service desk staff were polite and helpful and a car wash was offered after the service. I did mention a few issues I had noticed from new but I had no comeback on those ?

Popped into Renault Toomey Basildon last week to just have a chat about my options as my current finance deal was due to end in a few months. Met with David Reed who was very polite, professional and courteous towards me the entire visit. There was no pressure to re purchase another vehicle but I had my heart set on another Kadjar as I love the car. There happened to be one at the branch which fitted my personal requirements and budget so ended up leaving the branch having sold my current kadjar back to Toomey at a very good price and purchasing a new model. David Reed kept in touch by phone and email that week updating me about when my car would be ready. He was very organised when I went to collect my new car having all of the paperwork ready to go. He went through everything with me and even done the car tax, gap insurance etc… this is the 4th car we have purchased through Toomey over the years and my husband also purchased a van. Needed a new car after an insurance payout and was dreading visiting dealerships and being pressured by pushy salesman, but we saw a vehicle we liked online and spoke to Steve Moros at Toomey's Laindon. Immediately he put us at ease and we found him very knowledgeable and very professional. We never once felt under any pressure and once we decided we would proceed with the purchase, Steve did all he could for us to make the process as smooth as possible. We are very happy with our new vehicle aswell as the after sales service from Steve, which has included a couple of courtesy calls to see how we are getting on and offering any further assistance. We hope we won't need another new car for a very long time - but if we do - we would have no hesitation visiting Steve again.

I have found all the staff at Toomey Basildon to be very helpful from start to finish. Michael arranged for me to view and test drive the cars around my shifts. He was extremely helpful and answered every question I had. The car had a few marks on it which Toomey put right without even questioning it. Michael kept me updated via email on the progress of the work. The Car was given a new MOT and service, scratches touched up, new tyres and new headlight. When I went back to collect the car it look like a new car!!! I am very happy with the service I received at Toomey and would definitely use them again when I purchase my next car.

We have just purchased a second hand car and found the whole process really smooth. We had been looking for a second car for a couple of months that would also be suitable for our son to drive and had visited a week before to test drive another car that we were interested in. We dealt with Steve Moros. Unfortunately the car wasn’t quite right for us but instead of trying to persuade us to buy, Steve just said he’d keep an eye out for us. He contacted us about the little Clio we eventually bought, we took it for a test drive and decided it was the one for us. I recently acquired a new renault clio hybrid on finance through Renault Toomey Basildon and the process of receiving the car did take a long time due to the chip shortages across the world! But this was made easier by the excellent communication back and forth by David Reed, i would highly recommend anyone to come here and ask for Dave as he explained every step to me and put me at ease. He even got me a license plate with my initials on, amazing!

We were looking for a newer car and had decided on a Renault. I googled and found Toomey Renault, and found that they had a Renault Kadjar, with good milage and was within our price range. We arranged to view and test drive the car. We met with Steve Moros and he was brilliant from the start. From showing us the car, and explaining how everything worked to getting the paperwork sorted for the test drive, Steve was friendly and professional in equal measure. Once we decided we wanted the car Steve made it all very easy for us, even though we were using our own finance company. He kept us up-to-date every step of the way. I'm so pleased with my Clio and especially the outstanding service given by Steve Moros at Toomey Renault. I found the car I wanted online but I was over 300 miles away in Scotland. Steve arranged a very detailed video inspection of the car, showing any minor imperfections, talked me through all the features and this really helped me make my decision. I was kept informed at each step, Steve really went out of his way when I had an issue with the delivery company which shows he really does his best for his customers. Really pleased with the car so far and wanted to extend my thanks to Steve for all his help!

I brought a Kadjar last month with the help of Jade, she made the whole experience so easy, I have a small issue with squeaky brakes at the moment but Jade has been in touch ever since I brought the car & has booked it in with the service team to have a look. I was given great service throughout the process of choosing, testing and then buying my car in August this year. Then this week when I had an issue with power, after I had contacted my original salesman (Dave), once again there was no problem getting the issue resolved and all the staff involved were excellent, which is not something I get to say often and made the whole experience pain free!

He kept me in the loop throughout the whole process of buying the car which was very reassuring. David was also really accommodating, making sure all my requests were handled. Picking up my car was a great experience too, he talked me through how to use everything and answered all my questions. I couldn't have asked for better service from him, I genuinely was impressed. Imagine my surprise when not only did David Reed make the figures work, he had the exact car I wanted sitting on the forecourt awaiting its PDI. I have been a customer at Basildon Toomey Renault for many years and have purchased a number of cars from them. In March 2022 I went to along to the Basildon branch to have a look at the new Arkana hybrid. There I met the sales person David Reed. I had a number of questions and David took time to answer all of them. David was very helpful, did not rush and there was no hard sell. I placed my order and completed the paperwork. I was aware that there was going to be a six month wait and I received regular updates from David. I collected my new Arkana in September and David again took time to explain everything about my vehicle. David made my purchase enjoyable and it was a pleasure to do business with him.

I've been with Toomeys basildon for about 7 years and wouldn't go anywhere eles. Recently i purchased a capture from Renault my 3rd vechical with the garage, the friendly staff and welcoming environment makes this garage a go to place to purchase you next car. I was looked after by gentleman called Steve Maros and a gentleman he was, being one of many that had to wait for their car due to the pandemic and silicon shortage Steve's communication so fantastic, honest and informative he never once left Me I'm dark. I couldn't recommend a member of staff any more if I tried.

I purchased a Dacia Sandero through David Reed. The delivery time kept changing but I was kept up to date on a weekly basis. My emails and calls were always returned promptly. As I live an hour away from Toomey I had no choice but to stay, I was told the service would be approximately an hour but It took 2 hours and it was not washed correctly. I have been an toomey customer for over 20 years and this visit was the worst. There is no point in contacting me as there is nothing you can do about it now

We recently purchased a pre-owned Renault Arkana and when we took delivery, Michael Daws was extremely helpful, taking us through all the paperwork and explaining the process as he did so, in addition, he explained that a small blemish on the front passenger door would be rectified just as soon as there was capacity in the bodyshop - this duly happened last week and I was given a brand new courtesy car whilst the repair was undertaken, Thanks to Michael the entire process was very smooth.

Fully satisfied with all work carried out, however the work took 2days to complete because known spare parts weren't available. Helpful Service Department staff. Curtesy car available as requested. Time taken carrying out repair could be considerably reduced if repair parts were available before car went into workshop, even if, to make this possible, a prior advance payment was required.

Through the whole process of buying our new van Mark Buzer has been extremely helpful, always finding the time to go through every detail, dealing with every query I had, promptly and in a very friendly manner. Great place to go if your looking for a first car I got mine on pcp! I walked in to there with no knowledge of what pcp was and how to do it and was welcomed in my Daniel who went through the whole process with me in a way that made sense and aided me with my decision through out by informing me on each step! Recently took delivery of our first EV - a Renault Zoe R135 from Toomey's Basildon. I picked up my new Renault Kadjar from Toomey Basildon on Friday. Cannot recommend the service I received enough. I had been in quickly to have a chat and get some info ended up being from Steve who was fantastic then when I came back to get serious about buying the rest of the sales representatives ask me who I had spoken with before they didn’t all come running like you get at some dealerships. Steve Moros who I dealt with from the beginning was fantastic very helpful kept me to the budget I wanted and got me into a car I wanted at the same time. He was understanding of the limitations price wise we had mainly due to the current climate whilst also getting me everything I wanted in my new car spec wise. He made sure I got my payment date to be when I wanted it for and even had the car sitting inside all polished and beautiful with a lovely sign saying congratulations. Having had such a positive experience with Toomey in past, I was pleased that Steve had remembered me from my earlier purchase and called and asked if I was interested in a test drive of the New Austral, as part of Renaults introduction of the new model. I attended the event today, which was well organised and an expert from Renault (Hugo) was on hand to demonstrate all of the features and new tech that was included in this Striking new model. There was no hard sell, the car was allowed to do the talking, and, as before, the sales approach, knowledge and laid back approach from Steve and Toomey Renault is such a refreshing change. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. I picked up my Kadjar today. Steve (Moros) had handled the sale. He was polite, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. The whole process was a breath of fresh air compared to the usual hard sale tactics from other dealers. The car was serviced and presented to a high standard. Overall first class.

When I went to Toomey Renault, I already knew the car I wanted. Danny went through all the options for that car with me and arranged a test drive for me and the family to try the car out. Finance was worked out quickly, with no issues. Obviously with COVID, there were social distancing restrictions in place, however this did not affect the friendly and helpful service Danny provided and I was still able to pick up and then enjoy my nice new Clio. I would definitely recommend Danny and Toomey Renault in Basildon.

I received a great service from Steve (Moros) when I bought my car in March. He was very helpful and considering current restrictions still did a great job. Purchased my new, used Captur from Steve. Steve is very nice and polite. At the time of viewing the car Toomey was very busy and I was allowed to wander and look at cars at my own pace. I originally was looking for a new Dacia but they did not match my criteria. I sat in a used Captur and it fitted my needs well. Steve became available and asked if he could help. Short story we paid a deposit. Steve wanted to have a couple of marks, tiny dink and loose trim be repaired before we take it. The day of purchase came and again Steve was polite, helpful and patient. He explained all the controls (my trade-in was 17 years old and has less gadgets). Had an issue with my car. Contacted Toomey Renault. Wesley the manager contacted me the next day to try and resolve the issue. He sorted the problem out and gave me an alternative deal and put me onto Danny one of his sales team and he was great and today I picked my new car up after only 2 weeks after speaking to Wesley. I needed to get my Dacia serviced didn't want to drive it too to Romford (where I purchased my previous car from. Basildon was this by amazing Joe at universal tyres in Grays (shout out to them too for sending me here). On arrive, they were the service team were polite. Everyone was observing the new covid-19 rules we have at this time. Why are my car was being serviced for what I thought was an electrical fault (PSA: side note the Dacia now has an electrical indicator letting you know the oil needs to be changed as opposed to an actual electrical fault). The loan car the lent me was an upgrades to my Stepway Sandero. She drove smoother and had more space for airport runs for family and friends. ....... so, needless to say - what began isn't enquiry with the assistance of Wesley and Danny ended with my driving away with my new car. I very much appreciated helpful, super kind patient as I made up my mind. Now it's often that I write a review so I really appreciate I was treated and valued as a new customer. Great team. Nick was incredibly helpful from the first moment I stepped onto the forecourt to browse. I didn't exactly know what I was looking for but he offered different solutions with no objection to buy. I re-visited 3 times and eventually found what I was looking for. There was never any pushiness or sales jargon to try and force a sale, excessive phone calls etc, he asked how I wished to be dealt with and stuck to it. Couldn't recommend him any more

I bought my first ever car from here and the experience could not have been better- Sean Jackson was extremely helpful and not at all pushy. 5 franchises on one site is convenient, but Vauxhall showroom at least shows no list or 'list car on road price' price signs anywhere on the cars. So the only way to investigate is to talk to one of the salespeople which you may at that time not be ready to do yet. Both myself and another potential customer said this put us off and we walked away whereas we MIGHT have stayed and enquired more if we'd felt more comfortable.

Had great assistance from Nick and Carl in choosing our Kadjar which we collected on Monday. They were very helpful in explaining the different types of finance options available. After collection we notices a couple of minor blemishes on the paintwork which was quickly removed by Nick and Lee. Excellent service.

Went to order a new car for my mum, she has complex needs including early stages of dementia, I called Renault Toomey and was put through to the dealership and spoke to their motability specialist, Lee Bradford, he answered all our questions and arranged an appointment, on the day of your appointment we arrived on time, lee was waiting for us and Renault let us put our Renault Zoe on charge, during the appointment it is obvious why lee is Motabilty Specialist for Toomey, attention to the customers mobility needs were always his priority, he made extra effort like no other dealer has made with my mum before, he sourced the exact vehicle my mum asked for, within a matter of weeks Lee had the car we ordered delivered to the dealership, Lee then went out of his way to add extra drivers after the motability application had already been approved, I normally have to all dealerships for updates however throughout the whole process I never had to call once as Lee was always keeping me updated by phone and email, on collection day, lee called to say he had just taken the car back from the valet team and drove to the station to put some diesel in, we arrived to collect the car where lee was waiting for handover, he made sure we had all our documents, introduced us to the servicing department, answered all our questions and made sure we was happy before we left.

For the third time I have just bought a new Renault Captur from Toomey Basildon. Steve Moros handled our purchase and was brilliant throughout. He recognised what we wanted, found us a fantastic deal and kept us up to date with progress at each point. He even went so far as to fit the roof bars himself to avoid us being delayed! Sales person Lee no over selling straight to the point so we brought a Captur very pleased with the car and of course the Sales Person Lee ALThough he wasnt There at the point of collection Lloyd was just as experienced and new he's job just as good. I had a good experience purchasing a year old Kadjar a week or so ago. Zach was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain the intricacies of the vehicle. Soon after a deal was done and hands shaken. As the vehicle had not been serviced as advertised he arranged, in writing a free service early next year.
