Got a car at the weekend on Motability and I can’t stress how brilliant they are at Hyundai. We initially spoke to Mark and then followed up with Craig and he was beyond fantastic. From making us feel very welcome and being really nice to our 5 year old making sure everyone was happy, dealing with all the paperwork, going through every option with us, not making us feel pressured or forced in any way at all, allowing us to take time and ask as many questions as we needed. What a brilliant car showroom with brilliant staff. Cannot recommend anymore! Thank you for making my car journey a really lovely one.

Hi Earlier this week I contacted you with interest in buying an I10 for my wife, I was sent an excellent video by Craig Brooks that really perked the interest my wife had as it really showed details of the car that cannot be seen in photos or descriptions. I recently purchased a used Hyundai Kona from Toomey Southend, I had put a deposit down on a different model but had a change of mind, I was looked after by Phil Webster and he handled the sale excellently. He was very knowledgeable on the test drives explaining the different features of the car. Always patient and helpful and never pushy. All in all a very pleasant transaction. Also a big thanks to Mark who helped sort out the best finance package to suit my needs. Definitely a 5 star dealership and thoroughly recommended.

Booked a test drive appointment for a new car. On arriving I was looked after by Kiera Heath. She couldn't be more helpful. Friendly and although new she really knew about the cars and was always ready to answer questions. Although we bought from a different manufacturer I will definitely recommend her for any Hyundai buyers.

Service team were excellent, especially Alex. Extremely courteous, TV in the very comfortable waiting area lets you know what stage your vehicle is at. The team took time to listen to my concerns regarding defects and assured me I will be receiving a call within the next fortnight regarding warranty returns. Much, much better than the experiences at other Hyundai service centres. Criticism, none really other than no biscuits with the coffee, limited reading material while waiting, and the fact that Alex is a spurs supporter ????????. Overall a very pleasant experience

I took my ionic hybrid in for a service and was greeted warmly by Jamie who put me at ease immediately and showed me what was to be done in the process, he made coffee for me put me in a comfortable quiet place where i could wait and read and assured me that it would be done as quick as possible as i’m disabled. Jamie came to check i was ok regularly and when the work was done he explained clearly all aspects of the service, i was so pleased with my personal treatment and it was so welcome in an age where no one seems to have time for anyone so thank you Jamie and all at Hyundai.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Phil welcomed me into the showroom and took the time to talk through what I was looking for. We looked at a couple of options and I decided on the best option to suit my needs, there was no hard sell and I’m over the moon with my new car. The whole team made me feel welcome during my two visits to the showroom and I’ve have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

While initial experience with this dealership was good, things are not as good as they seemed. In February we exchanged our petrol Kona for a used electric Kona. We had a private plate on our car and Toomeys agreed to arrange for it to be transfered to the new Kona, but unfortunately the salesperson dealing with us was too eager to register the sale and made a mistake that prevented the transfer to be carried out on-line. Since then we have continually contacted the manager who delayed selling on our old car, who has been trying to contact DVLA. However that car has now been sold and we are still without the private plate and it is now the end of September. Contact with the manager is very sporadic. We are pleased with the car, but this issue is getting beyond a joke. Update. Finally got my private plate restored. Problem was mainly with DVLA. Mark actually replaced the plates himself while we had a coffee in his office. I realise that he was almost as frustrated as we were with the time it took to resolve this issue. It has been a learning curve all round and we are pleased with the end result. I have upped the star rating to reflect this. So a warning to anyone who wished to change a private plate onto their next vehicle. Make sure the retention document is completed on-line BEFORE the sale is registered.

Been messed about by Hyundai changing their dealerships in Chelmsford and Basildon at short notice. Finally managed to get my annual service but mapping updates couldn't be done. Took my Kona to Toomey's at Southend today and the mapping has been sorted out perfectly with all my settings still there. Very good friendly service. Many thanks to Zack.

Dealt with Jamie at the Southend branch, who looked after the service of my i30 fastback. He made the whole process so easy, from booking to dropping off and picking up. We were very welcomed at the Toomey showroom in Southend by all the staff who were always helpful and at hand to answer any questions we had. Our sales advisor was Daisy pallett who explained everything about buying a new car in detail as well as taking us for a test drive and part exchanging our existing car. We finally decided to purchase a new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid 230 in Teal Blue a really great car absolutely love it. Thanks again to Daisy.

Any purchase these days is defined and differentiated by the quality of customer service received. In this regard buying my Ioniq6 from Toomey Southend has been second to none thanks to the professionalism, attentiveness and responsiveness of Craig who was looking after me. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, not without the odd bump in the road, but it is how these bumps are handled that makes the difference - perfect. Many thanks.

Very excited to get my new Kona from here. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help. Great to see young people progressing their career and supporting each other as well. Had a great experience with Toomey Hyundai. We just purchased our i30 after initially contacting them through Carwow just a few days prior. The whole team is friendly but special praise must go out to Mark S who I felt handled everything fantastically and kept me up to date at all stages of the purchase. I really enjoyed this purchase and noticed a lot of extra care and efforts that I haven't seen from other dealerships. Other than that, the showroom is also well stocked and well lit and creates a great atmosphere to explore all the different options available. Canadian Mark was so friendly and knowledgeable. He made me feel at ease, when I told him I felt nervous about driving an automatic for the first time. I had a really lovely experience at Toomey Hyundai Southend. Everybody is very friendly and it creates a relaxing atmosphere. Daisy was so helpful, friendly and efficient when doing the test driving and going over the documentation. The whole process was very quick and i was able to pick up my car within days. On collection day Rebecca was so organised and sorted out all my paperwork. Rebecca showed me all around the car and explained the car functions, even helped connect my phone to the car. Craig Brooks, sales consultant at Toomey's Southend Hyundai Showroom. Is a great ambassador for customer and Toomeys alike. Craig Brooks is obviously doing the best for his employer, however he is always open and transparent regarding Craig's can do's and can'ts. Craig Brooks will definitely be seeing me again, along with my friends and relations.

Asked them for a little info, and without my permission they used my mobile to spam me adverts. All the different manifestations of Toomey spam you, have had this issue many times in the past. Blocked them now, and reported it as spam. To their credit the manager contacted me, he seemed to think that the spamming was from Hyundai, but it did appear from Toomey. I respect the fact he bothered to contact me which I s why I changed it from 1-3 stars, but sadly spamming is endemic in the whole Toomey group, and it needs to be addressed at a corporate level so as to stay within their GDPR duties.

We've just picked up our new Hyundai Tuscon N Line S from Hyundai Toomey Southend. Lovely car and great service from the guys there. Daisy kept us updated on all aspects of when we would be receiving our car. When we went to pick it up she went through all the important information and she came with us when we went for a drive and pointed out different aspects of the controls and screens. Mark in the office helped out also with the finance side of the lease. Overall we are extremely pleased with the service we received.

Great service all round. Decided to buy the ionic 6 on Monday and collected on Friday. A seamless transaction with Rebecca and great demonstration how everything works from Mark. As it’s basically a computer with wheels Mark was able to educate me on the workings of this incredible car. Follow up service has also been incredible with calls and texts to see if there have been any issues. Would 100% recommend them.

All of the staff were friendly & Helpful, and we were shown around a Santa Fe and a Tucson by Daisy Pallett who was very knowledgable about the products and gave us some excellent advice on purchasing options. This is our third new Hyundai, and the first we have ordered from Toomey since they have taken over the franchisee in the area. The service throughout was first class! Fantastic communication throughout the process. A great handover experience the like of which we have never had before. We were made to feel special and valued through the whole journey. Absolutely fantastic customer service. Charlie O’Connor stayed in touch and kept us updated whilst waiting for our new car. He went above and beyond. I picked up my Sante Fe plug in hybrid on Friday 31st March. Since I had to travel from Bristol to collect it I would have expected lots of complications in the purchasing and collection process. From initial enquiry to collection took less than 4 weeks and that included waiting for delivery of the vehicle from Tilbury Docks. I found all the staff, especially Charlie O'Connor, most helpful and informative and what could have been a difficult experience turned out to be extremely easy. They even picked me up from the station on the day of collection - a nice touch. I now intend to enjoy driving what so far is a vehicle that has exceeded my expectations.

We spotted a used Hyundai i10 in brilliant condition on the website, so we booked a test drive. As a first time car buyer the paperwork was slightly overwhelming, but they were happy to explain everything in detail and we were given time to think things over so we could make the best decision for us. Great car, lovely service. Special thanks to Daisy Pallett, who showed us the car and told us all about it, went on the test drive with us and went out of her way to record two personalised videos - one before we attended the test drive so we could see whether the car was right for us, and one on the day of pick up to show that the car was ready for collection.

We were lucky enough to pick up our brand new Hyundai Tucson last week! From our first test drive to collecting the car was a little over a week which was quicker than we could have imagined. After an extended test drive just 3 weeks later i was lucky enough to collect my 23 plate IONIQ 5. Part exchanging a vehicle can be a bit daunting but the friendly and professional staff at Toomey Hyundai Southend who handled the complete exchange for me made the process stress free. My initial telephone contact was with Vicky Drew who gave me a brief description of the vehicle I was interested in and explained how to place a refundable reservation on it. I was also emailed a video presentation of the vehicle so that I could inspect it remotely. When me and my wife arrived at the Southend site Charlie O’Connor greeted us and showed us around the vehicle we had come to see. His knowledgeable and friendly demeanour put us at ease as he talked us through the details of the vehicle and answered all our queries and explained the process of exchanging our vehicle. Finally on the handover day Charlie conducted the purchase and vehicle registration process for our old and new vehicles for us. I would definitely use this dealership again.

Our sales executive Charlie O’Connor provided a good experience for us whilst buying our car. We were not pressured into deciding anything straight away, although we knew what car and spec we wanted. Charlie’s knowledge of Hyundai car products was very reassuring and made my wife at ease whilst sitting in the car going through the spec. He also managed to get a good deal on our Peugeot car that was only one month old (we weren’t happy with the spec). I would recommend buying a car from Toomey Hyundai Southend. The salesman, Kieron, did a great job keeping me informed of the progress of the used car I bought. His customer service was excellent, and he delivered on everything he promised. Although Hyundai is new to the Toomey group, it's evident he has been trained to top standards by his manager, Mark, and his brand manager, Gary, respectively!

I arrived at Southend Hyundai dealership the day they opened up at Toomey's site. I was looking to buy a new Hyundai i10 SE CONNECT 1.2 5DR. AUTO. I had previously seen a 2 year old one at another salesroom, driven it and was pleased with the car which suited my needs. I was greeted warmly and enthusiastically by Gary and Mark. Mark explained that he could do a better value deal on a new car for me. As soon as the car arrived he contacted me and I went to view it as soon as it was unwrapped in their yard. The deal was much better with 5 years warranty and a good service deal for 3years. also paid tax for first year. I liked their friendly approach without being pushy as well as straightforward way they explained all my options on the deal.
