  Recently purchased a new car for the first time in 10 years, so was well out of practice with new models! Dan was so helpful in explaining each step and once the car arrived, he took time to run through the mechanics of everything so I felt comfortable on the road and was happy to answer extra questions after I’d been driving for a few days and was still getting used to the new touch screen.   I had a really good experience with Charlie Denholm at Citroen. Although the car id ordered with motability did take longer than I’d expected, Charlie did keep me updated every step of the way including sending me a video of my car when it had arrived at the dealership knowing how excited I was to get the car. I was very well looked after by Charlie and other staff that I’d dealt with at Citroen. They made sure the car was exactly what I wanted and Charlie even gave me a call a few days after I collected the car to make sure I was happy with it. Couldn’t ask for better service.

  Very happy with the service from Lee at Toomeys in Southend. We had been looking for a Citroen C5 Aircross about a year old and hadn’t found what we wanted at other garages but we had 3 to choose from here and found the perfect one for us. Lee was not pushy in any way and went the extra mile to help us get exactly what we wanted and managed the part exchange of our C4 Picasso too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

  1 Star: Do not come here to buy their used cars! Spent £15k on a DS3 Crossback with 19k miles on it, after 24+ hours the rear passenger side window didnt work, the door handle on the driver side had an issue where it wouldn’t close and cause issues with the locking! One day started the car to go work and it sounded like a chugging steam train or a an old diesel engine! Turns out to be a voltage issue with the engine and can come on whenever it wants to! The cars been back to the service department for 5 days now and still nothings been fixed. They say their fixing itas fast as possiblebut for a dealership who claims they do 120 point vehicle inspection on all their cars on the forecourt, this is hard to comprehend after a poor car purchase! Given us a courtesy car same day of dropping off the DS3 which is the only good thing, but not the car we spent £15k on to not drive due to poor sales and care! Just got the impression from all of em with fake smiles and shallow apologieswe have your money now, we don’t really careEdit 3 Stars: Car has now been rectified and finished after 2 weeks of repairs. Managers and service people were very forthcoming and apologetic and have learned from their mistakes! Drove away with more fixes than what was mentioned i.e new brake pads all round. So was a nice welcome to show their appreciation of the matter. Edit 2 Stars: Had to hand the car back in again due to one of the handles not working correctly as it should be (closing once driving off) having had multiple issues including the new brake pads they fitted turned out to be rubbing against the brake rotor with a screeching sound emanating from the left front side. Collected car same day of handing in and was given another courtesy car till repair was done which was nice again. On collection got told car couldn’t be cleaned again asshort manned1st time being on cars original repair after engine issues arose being not washed and cleaned) in owning this car since the 23rd of September, maybe had in my possession for around 7 days totalEdit 1 Star Again: Handed the car back and asked for the full refund backliterally after 4 days of getting the DS back from its Brake rotor repair, engine fault occurred and car was forced into limp home mode at 10mph to DS dealer to hand back in! Asked us if they would want to swap cars and pick another in their dealer, what a joke! Avoid this place at all costs! Also they told us to take down this review initially as they hadrectified the issues they repaired”
